When Students See Sutro Tower, They Know They are Home
Three teachers at Glen Park Elementary School have their students paint Sutro Tower every year to connect them with a beloved local San Francisco landmark. They tell their students, "When you see Sutro Tower, you know you are home."
Sutro Tower can be seen from Glen Park Elementary and many students can see it from their homes. Their paintings are a way to connect students with their City and shows how they are a part of a very special community.
